About whey protein isolate:

What is ORAC and why do I want to eat foods with high ORAC levels?
ORAC stands for “oxygen radical absorbance capacity." Foods that “score” high in ORAC are believed to be helpful with fighting disease and promoting healthy aging . . . good stuff! mix1 has an ORAC equivalent to three servings of fruits and veggies . . . more good stuff! We always want you to eat fresh broccoli and blueberries when you can to get your ORAC covered, but when you cannot, mix1 can help!
About monounsaturated fats:
The olive oil in mix1 provides the fats necessary to support sustained energy and metabolism. Olive oil contains only monounsaturated fat, the so-called "good" fat that is considered to be the healthiest type of general fat. It has none of the adverse effects associated with saturated fats, trans-fats or omega-6 polyunsaturated vegetable oils.
About fiber:
The soluble fiber in mix1 is from fibersol, which can be helpful with lowering "bad" (LDL) cholesterol as well as with regulating blood sugar, for support with sustained energy. in packaging. The #7 is a catch all code meaning the
material doesn’t fit the classification of a 1 through
6. Our bottle is a compatible #5 meaning it is recycled
as a #5. The only reason the #7 is on our bottle is due
to the liner inside the bottle which creates a
protective barrier to extend shelf life. This liner is
commonly used in many products but does not fit into the
categories of 1 – 6 so by default becomes #7. |
